In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif Lam Mim 1 These are verses of the wise Book. 2 A guidance and mercy for the righteous 3 Those who establish worship and pay the poor-due and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 4 Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful. 5 But among men there is many a one that prefers a mere play with words [to divine guidance,] so as to lead [those] without knowledge astray from the path of God, and to turn it to ridicule: for such there is shameful suffering in store. 6 And when Our signs are recited to such a man he turns away, waxing proud, as though he heard them not, and in his ears were heaviness; so give him good tidings of a painful chastisement. 7 Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure. 8 To abide therein. It is a Promise of Allah in truth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 9 He has created the heavens without any pillars, that you see and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein. 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
