We gave the Book to Moses - do not have any doubt about the Day of Judgment - and made it a guide for the children of Israel. 23 And We appointed, from amongst them, leaders guiding others by Our command, when they had persevered, and of Our signs they were convinced. 24 Your Lord will issue His decree about their (believers and disbeliever's) differences on the Day of Judgment. 25 Does it not guide them [to see] how many generations We destroyed before them, among whose ruined dwellings they now walk about? There truly are signs in this -- will they not listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 They say: “If you are truthful, (tell us) when will the Judgement come?” 28 Tell them: “If the unbelievers were to believe on the Day of Judgement that will not avail them. For then they will be granted no respite.” 29 Therefore turn away from them and wait – indeed they too have to wait. 30
