Sheba (Saba)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Praise be to Allah, to Whom belong all things in the heavens and on earth: to Him be Praise in the Hereafter: and He is Full of Wisdom, acquainted with all things. 1 He knows all that penetrates the earth and all that comes forth from it, all that comes down from heaven and all that ascends to it. He is the Most Merciful, the Forgiver. 2 But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [Allah is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is an atom's weight within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register - 3 He will surely reward those who believe and do good deeds: they shall have forgiveness and an honourable provision." 4 'And those who strive against Our signs to void them -- theirs shall be a chastisement of painful wrath.' 5 And those to whom the knowledge has been given see that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, that is the truth, and it guides into the path of the Mighty, the Praised. 6 The unbelievers have said, "Should we tell you about a man who says that you will be brought back to life again after your having been completely disintegrated? 7 Hath he fabricated a lie against Allah, or is therein him a madness? Nay, but those who disbelieve in the Hereafter are themselves in a torment and error far-reaching: 8 Behold they not that which is before them and that which is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We shall sink the earth with them or cause a fragment of the heaven to fall on them. Verily therein is a sign unto every repentant bondman. 9
