۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say thou: whatsoever hire I might have asked of you is yours; my hire is with Allah only. And He is of everything a Witness. 47 Say: "My Lord casts the truth: He is the knower of things unknown." 48 Say: The Truth hath come, and falsehood showeth not its face and will not return. 49 Say: "If I am in error it is to my own loss; if I am on guidance that is so because of what my Lord reveals to me. He is all-hearing and all-too-near." 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 And they shall say: We believe in it. And how shall the attaining (of faith) be possible to them from a distant place? 52 seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away? 53 And they will be shut off from that which they will eagerly desire, as shall be done with the likes of them of yore. Verily they have been in doubt perplexing. 54
