۞ Say: "I do admonish you on one point: that ye do stand up before Allah,- (It may be) in pairs, or (it may be) singly,- and reflect (within yourselves): your Companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible Penalty." 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say: 'My Lord hurls the truth -- the Knower of the Unseen.' 48 Say: “The Truth has come and falsehood can neither originate nor recreate anything.” 49 Say: "Were I to go astray, I would but go astray [due to my own self, and] to the hurt of myself; but if I am on the right path, it is but by virtue of what my Sustainer reveals unto me: for, verily, He is all-hearing, ever-near!" 50 And if you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a near place. 51 And they will say, “We accept faith in it”; and how can they attain it from so far away? (After they have crossed the limit of life allotted to them.) 52 And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away. 53 A barrier will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with the likes of them before. Surely they were in a disquieting doubt. 54
