Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a straight path, 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
