Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 on a straight path, 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
