Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Seen. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
