The dead land is a sign for them. We revive it, and from it produce grain from which they eat. 33 And there We made gardens of palms and vines, and in it We caused fountains to gush forth, 34 That they may eat of His fruit. And their hands have not produced it, so will they not be grateful? 35 Glory be to Him, Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not. 36 And [of Our sway over all that exists] they have a sign in the night: We withdraw from it the [light of] day - and lo! they are in darkness. 37 The sun runs to its fixed resting place; that is the decree of the Almighty, the Knower. 38 And for the moon We have appointed mansions till she return like an old shrivelled palm-leaf. 39 [and] neither may the sun overtake the moon, nor can the night usurp the time of day, since all of them float through space [in accordance with Our laws]. 40 And an Ayah (sign) for them is that We bore their offspring in the laden ship [of Nuh (Noah)]. 41 and We have created for them the like of it whereon they ride; 42 If it were Our Will, We could drown them: then would there be no helper (to hear their cry), nor could they be delivered, 43 Unless by mercy from Us, and as a comfort for a while. 44 When it is said to them: 'Have fear of that which is before you and behind you in order that you find mercy' 45 None of the signs of their Lord ever comes to them but they turn away from it. 46 And when it is said to them, “Spend in Allah’s cause, from what Allah has provided you”, the disbelievers say regarding the believers, “Shall we feed these, whom if Allah willed, would have fed? You are not but in open error!” 47 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 48 They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing. 49 Then they cannot make bequest, nor can they return to their own folk. 50
