When the trumpet blast is sounded they will come out of their graves and hasten to their Lord, 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 There would be naught but a single cry, when lo! they shall all be brought before Us; 53 So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do. 54 Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed, 55 they and their spouses shall be reclining on their couches in shady groves; 56 (Every) fruit (enjoyment) will be there for them; they shall have whatever they call for; 57 “Peace” shall be the word conveyed to them from their Merciful Lord. 58 “Criminals, separate yourselves from others today! 59 ۞ “O Descendants of Adam! Did I not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? Undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.” 60 and that you should serve Me? This is a straight path. 61 Still, he misguided a whole throng of you. Did you have no sense? 62 "This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned! 63 [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny." 64 That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did. 65 And if We listed, surely We should wipe out their eyes so that they would struggle for the way; how then would they see? 66 And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back. 67
