The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
