Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And indeed Nooh prayed to Us – so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
