Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
