We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
