No, by the moon! 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 it is a warning to man, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the criminals, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 until death approached us". 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
