Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
