And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
