We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
