We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
