We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
