And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
