And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
