And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
