And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 AND CALL to mind Our servants Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, [all of them] endowed with inner strength and vision: 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ and wherein there shall be with them well-matched, bashful mates. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 They shall say: Nay! you-- no welcome to you: you did proffer it to us, so evil is the resting-place. 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
