AND CALL to mind Our servant Job, [how it was] when he cried out to his Sustainer, "Behold, Satan has afflicted me with [utter] weariness and suffering!" 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Verily this is Our provision: there will be no ceasing thereof. 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
