Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
