۞ Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 “And incline towards your Lord and submit to Him, before the punishment comes you and then you may not be helped.” 54 “And follow this, the best among all, which has been sent down towards you from your Lord, before the punishment comes suddenly upon you whilst you are unaware.” 55 Turn to God in repentance before a soul says, "Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties to God. Woe to me for mocking God's guidance!" 56 Or before the soul says, "Had God guided me, I could have been a pious man". 57 Or it should say when it sees the punishment: Were there only a returning for me, I should be of the doers of good. 58 It will be said to him, “Surely yes, why not?* My signs did come to you, so you denied them and you were haughty and you were a disbeliever.” (They will be mocked at.) 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones? 60 But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, such are they who will be the losers. 63
