۞ Say: O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful. 53 And turn penitently unto your Lord and submit unto Him ere there cometh unto you the torment, and then ye shall not be succoured. 54 And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive, 55 Lest a person should say: “Alas for me for neglecting my duty towards Allah and for being among those that scoffed”; 56 Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous." 57 Or, lest when it sees the punishment should say: 'O that I might return, and be among those that did good' 58 Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers. 59 And on the day of resurrection you shall see those who lied against Allah; their faces shall be blackened. Is there not in hell an abode for the proud? 60 And Allah will deliver those who feared Him to their place of safety. Evil will not touch them, nor will they grieve. 61 Allah is Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things. 62 In His hands are the keys of the treasuries of the heavens and the earth. Those who reject God's revelations will be lost. 63
