Do you not see how those who dispute God's signs, are turned away from the right path -- 69 Those who deny the Book (this Quran), and that with which We sent Our Messengers (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone sincerely, and to reject all false deities and to confess resurrection after the death for recompense) they will come to know (when they will be cast into the Fire of Hell). 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 into boiling water, then, into the Fire they shall be poured. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 "This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent. 75 Enter the gates of hell to abide therein, evil then is the abode of the proud. 76 Therefore have patience, the Promise of Allah is true. Whether We show you something of that We promise them or call you to Us, to Us they shall all return. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
