Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
