Observest thou not those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah? whither are they turning away! 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said unto them: where are those whom ye have been associating? 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 We have told you the stories of some of Our Messengers whom We had sent before you and We have not told you the stories of some others. A Messenger is not supposed to show a miracle without the permission of God. When God's decree of punishment comes to pass, He will judge truthfully and the supporters of the falsehood will perish when God's decree of punishemnt comes to pass. 78
