ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So you persevere with patience (in your mission). The promise of God is true. Whether We show you some of the punishment We have promised them, or gather you up in death, they have to come back to Us. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
