Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 into the boiling water, then into the Fire they are poured; 72 Then it will be said unto them: where are those whom ye have been associating? 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 They will be told, "This (torment) is the result of your unreasonable happiness on the earth and of your propagation of falsehood. 75 Enter [now] the gates of hell, therein to abide: and how vile an abode for all who are given to false pride!" 76 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Whether We let you witness the suffering with which they were threatened or because of your death (you do not see them suffering,), We shall still punish them when they return to Us (on the Day of Judgment). 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
