The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
