Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 the men of the Thicket, the people of Tubba'. Every one cried lies to the Messengers, and My threat came true. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
