Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 God will say, "Do not quarrel in My presence. I gave you the warning beforehand 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
