We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
