We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 Everyone has come, each attended by one who will drive him on, and another who will bear witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 The Word is not changed with Me; I wrong not My servants.' 29
