With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
