And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
