With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
