AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
