We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
