Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" 30 Say thou: wait verily I am, with you, among the waiters. 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain! 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Or has He only daughters and ye have sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Or is the hidden with them, by which they pass judgements? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 If they should see a part of the heavens falling down, they would say, "A mass of clouds," 44 So leave them till they encounter their Day in which they shall be thunderstruck. 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
