۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
