EXHORT, then, [O Prophet, all men:] for, by thy Sustainer's grace, thou art neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time? 30 Say thou: "Wait, [then,] hopefully; behold, I, too, shall hopefully wait with you!" 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 Or say they: he hath fabricated it: aye they will not believe. 33 But then, [if they deem it the work of a mere mortal,] let them produce another discourse like it - if what they say be true! 34 Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators? 35 Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 What! The daughters for Him, and the sons for you? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god, other than God? Glory be to God, above that which they associate! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
Almighty Allah's Truth.
