Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
