So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None but God can avert it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
