Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
