(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
